Non-Discrimination Policy
Phoenix Community Acupuncture appreciates the diversity of human beings and does not discriminate based on race, age, height, national origin, language, religion, ability, education, HIV status, marital status, sexual orientation, sex or gender identity. We invite our client-base to share similar attitudes and acceptance of individuals from all walks of life.
Our facility is a healing space and will not tolerate hostile and abusive language or behavior directed towards its staff, volunteers, or clients. We ask you to abstain from drug and alcohol use prior to receiving treatment. Please abide by our COVID protocols such as masking up and maintaining physical distancing for your own personal safety and the safety of others around you.
The safety of our community is our top priority. If you fail to abide by our policies, we reserve the right to refuse you service.
Mask Policy
Based on CDC and Maricopa County recommendations, our mask policy is subject to change at any time. Masks are optional for any appointments. When mandatory, masks must fit over the nose and under the chin with no gaps. Surgical masks must be worn with the blue side facing outwards.
Booking Appointments
You can book a private or community appointment online via the online scheduler. We can also take appointments by calling or texting our front desk at (623) 242-0541. If the online schedule is full, please call/text the office- we usually have room for walk-ins!
To make sure we run as close to our schedule as possible if you are 10 or more minutes late to your appointment we reserve the right to shorten your treatment to 30-35 minutes instead of the usual 40. We will be as accommodating as possible, we do understand things come up, however one late appointment can have a ripple effect on our entire day!
Community room sliding scale is $30-$60. Private room sliding scale is $60-$120. There is a $10 fee for first-time patients. We accept cash, check, VISA, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
Cancellation Policy
Phoenix Community Acupuncture makes every attempt to make acupuncture available to as many people as possible, at the most affordable rates. Our intention is to offer high-quality healthcare at affordable prices and because of that we ask for at least 24-hour advance notice if it is necessary to cancel an appointment. All appointments that are cancelled with less than 24-hour advance notice or missed without notice will be charged $20 for community room and $50 for private room. We can no longer absorb the costs of missed appointments and late cancellations. If appointments have been purchased in a package, the missed or cancelled appointment will be deducted from the number of remaining appointments in that package. This policy is strictly enforced.
Child Policy
We support healthy families and children. However, due to the fact that we treat in a group environment we are not able to provide the care necessary for pediatric acupuncture. We gladly treat kids ages 13 and over as long it is their choice to receive treatment. Also, if you have little ones please arrange for their care during your appointment. Relaxation can be an important factor to getting the most out your treatment and unfortunately we don't have the staff to care for unsupervised children.
